**As a Facility Maintenance Helper you will be responsible for the general maintenance of all building equipment and facility**:

- Perform a variety of routine hand-eye skilled maintenance for facilities, including, carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical trades work.
- Ensure that facilities are available for use and consistently maintained in a safe and clean condition.
- Assemble, repair, maintain work spaces (desks, cabinets, tables, chairs, shelves, and related fittings and fixtures).
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of silo systems, building surroundings, air compressors, dehumidifiers, Ph Systems etc.
- Daily completion of maintenance and job reports
- Installation, hoisting and rigging, leveling, aligning of material handling equipment and production machinery.
- Fabrication and modification of components using standard shop tools (drill press, grinder, brake, shear and milling machine).
- Machine shop fabrication of small parts.
- Other duties as required

**What will make you successful**
- Perform routine facility maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret manufacturer manuals, technical drawings and schematics.
- Ability to maintain working relationship with coworkers and subordinates.
- Available for shift work.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience preferably in the Food industry

**Physical Demands**
- You will stand/sit for long periods of time.
- You will engage in frequent bending, stooping or squatting.
- You will lift up to 40 pounds.
- Due to the environment, you will work in various weather and temperature conditions which include extreme heat, humidity and cold.

**Work schedule **Monday to Friday 6AM-2PM
