**Overview**
**Key Job Duties**:
- **Office Administration**_
- Oversee daily operations of the medical clinic, both Ophthalmology and Rheumatology
- Oversee scheduling of patient appointments and provider calendars
- Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA
- Order and manage inventory of office and medical supplies
- Ensure proper billing, coding, and insurance claim submissions
- Monitor and improve workflow efficiency
- **Staff Supervision and HR**_
- Hire, train, and supervise front desk staff, ophthalmic technicians, and other administrative personnel
- Create staff schedules and manage time-off requests
- Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing training
- Handle disciplinary actions or conflict resolution
- **Financial Management**_
- Manage budgets, and office expenses
- Oversee patient billing and collections processes
- Work with accountant on audits or reporting
- Monitor and optimize revenue cycle performance
- **Compliance and Regulatory Oversight**_
- Ensure the office complies with healthcare regulations and standards (HIPAA, OSHA, etc.)
- Maintain proper licensure and certifications for the practice and providers
- Prepare for and assist with audits or inspections
- **Patient Relations**_
- Address patient complaints or concerns professionally
- Ensure high standards of customer service across staff
- Work with providers to enhance the patient experience
- **Technology and Systems Management**_
- Oversee the use of Accuro, Electronic Health Records (EHR) system
- Train staff on new systems or software
- Troubleshoot basic IT issues or coordinate with tech support
- **Communication and Coordination**_
- Act as a liaison between physicians, staff, patients, and vendors
- Coordinate with hospitals, laboratories, and insurance companies
- Attend meetings and communicate changes or updates to staff
**Job Requirements**
- Proven experience in an office management role with strong clerical and administrative skills.
- Supervising experience is essential; previous experience in team management is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Accuro
- Strong human resources knowledge, specifically employee relations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Pay will be based upon experience.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
