**What you will do**:
As a Marketing & Communications Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in helping us communicate our vision, purpose, and values to the world. As a member of the Expanded Leadership Team, you will be an ambassador for TESC, and your creativity and strategic thinking will help shape how we engage with our clients, employees, and the community. You will be responsible for creating and executing impactful marketing campaigns, maintaining our brand presence, and driving communication strategies across various channels.
**Roles and Responsibilities**:
- Reporting to the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible to develop and execute marketing strategies to promote TESC’s services and brand
- Create and distribute marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, ads, and multimedia content.
- Manage website content, company intranet, press releases, and internal communications.
- Ensure marketing materials align with TESC’s branding, including the TESC READY tagline.
- Oversee social media presence, manage platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram), and create content calendars.
- Coordinate and track advertising campaigns, sponsorships, and donations for budget efficiency and ROI.
- Maintain a repository of branded templates and assets for consistent brand adherence.
- Assist in preparing internal presentations and communications for Senior Management.
- Draft PR communications, including media releases, speeches, and external presentations.
- Collaborate with HR on internal communications and events.
- Utilize Canva and other tools for creating marketing materials and graphics.
- Work with operations to develop content for tenders and pre-qualifications.
- Organize and attend trade shows, industry events, employee engagement activities, and networking functions.
- Act as a TESC ambassador, participating in events and initiatives, including the Swellness Committee.
- Coordinate internal social and wellness events, such as Town Halls, BBQs, golf tournaments, and holiday parties.
- Manage branded merchandise and promotional materials.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies and efforts and drive ongoing continuous improvement initiatives in marketing.
- Conduct market research and analyze customer satisfaction surveys to support business decisions.
- Monitor marketing performance metrics and provide insights for leadership.
**Job Specifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, business, communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing, business development, or sales, preferably in an industrial setting.
- Proficient in MS Office, Canva, digital communication tools, and social media platforms.
- Strong creative writing, analytical, and presentation skills for various audiences.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple assignments.
- Experience in coordinating corporate events and tradeshows is a plus.
- Familiarity with graphic design, copywriting, and marketing strategies is beneficial.
- Willingness to travel and work evenings/weekends for events and tradeshows.
- Valid Class G Ontario Driver's License.
