REQUIRED SKILLS
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of existing and emerging social media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat, etc.) and how they can be deployed in different scenarios
- Demonstrable experience in leveraging social media to drive traffic or achieve tangible goals
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of search engine optimization, including keyword research
- Exceptional copy writing, editing and proofing skills

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create budgets for social media activities
- Plan social media campaigns
- Manage social media campaigns and day to day activities
- Manage presence in social networking sites
- Brand advocacy
- Community outreach
- Manage a blogger outreach program
- Post and comment on relevant blogs
- Seed content into social networks
- Write editorial content
- Create and upload videos
- Engage in conversations and answer questions
- Create and maintain social media editorial calendar and posting schedule
- Develop benchmark metrics to measure the results of social media programs
- Analyze and evaluate social media campaigns and strategies
- Report on effectiveness of campaigns
- Monitor trends in social media
- Monitor social space for brand and related topics and conversations
- Understand how the social media impacts search traffic
- Respond to and engage all inquiries across social platforms
- Keep our look and feel current
- Experiment with new and alternative ways to leverage social media activities
- Monitor trends in the social media space and make recommendations on ways to increase the use of social media
