**Summary**

We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join our team at Habitat For Humanity-Huronia. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our mission by overseeing daily operations, managing volunteers, and ensuring exceptional customer service in our retail environment. Your contributions will help us further our goal of providing affordable housing solutions.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in managing daily operations of the ReStore.
- Supervise and train volunteers and staff to ensure efficient workflow.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with ReStore Team, Volunteers, customers and donors - providing world class customer service to build loyalty and promote repeat business.
- Support sales initiatives by promoting products and services effectively.
- Manage logistics, donations and CRM entries as needed in collaboration with Logistics team and other ReStore Associate Managers.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain financial records.
- Collaborate with team members to develop training programs for new hires.
- Participate in the Joint Health & Safety Committee.
- Provide monthly report strategies, sales, staffing and activities to ReStore Business Relations Manager for inclusion in monthly Board of Directors information package.
- Develop relationships with existing and potential donors to increase quality and quantity of donations in order to maintain full inventory.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in sales management or retail operations.
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for helping others.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Effective time management an organizational skills.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office, outlook and social media.
- Ability to manage a team effectively and foster a positive work environment.
- Experience in administrative tasks related to retail management is an asset.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures.
- Ability to lift 30lbs. Work may require climbing ladders, considerable standing, bending, kneeling and reaching in awkward and tiring positions.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
