**Assistant Housekeeping Manager Job Summary**

Seeking a professional assistant housekeeping manager to perform a variety of cleaning, maintenance, and supervisory duties.

Attention to detail and a positive attitude a must. The right person is reliable, punctual, thorough but fast, and eager to learn.

Including but not limited to the following:
Vacuuming, mopping, surface cleaning, dusting, bathroom services, linen changing.

Assisting the Housekeeping Manager with training and overseeing staff

Providing quotes for new clients

Checking in on staff at various jobs throughout the day - ongoing training - checking cleans are being done correctly

Helping with staffs questions and needs throughout the day.

**Cleaner Duties and Responsibilities**
- Dusting and cleaning surface areas, counter surfaces, and furniture
- Performs general sweeping, scrubbing, mopping of hardwood, laminate, or tiled floors
- Using vacuuming equipment; vacuums and cleans carpets, perform further treatments such as shampoo or stain-removal as needed
- Disposing of trash from bins and containers
- Polishing furniture and room accessories as needed
- Scrubbing sinks, basins, and toilets in private and public bathrooms
- Cleaning windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
- Changing linens, doing laundry
- Reporting repairs and replacements needed when encountered on the job
- Doing Housekeeping Quotes for clients: typing up job notes using a standard template and sending the quote to clients.
- Entering Client information into our software system
- Updating outdated job notes
- Being at the initial cleans and having a plan for the clean and delegating tasks to the team
- Ordering Supplies
- Assisting with Customer Complaints

**Cleaner Requirements and Qualifications**
- Ability to follow verbal directions
- Ability to work well alone and with a partner or team
- Management Experience
- Scheduling Experience
- Reliable and punctual with dedicated professionalism to job duties
- Organized and able to follow a schedule
- Able to adapt to changing schedules or routines, excellent time management skills
- Pays attention to detail when cleaning
- Reviews housekeeping staffs work and continually trains staff on the job
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience; or knowledge, skills, and mental ability equivalent to 2 years of high school education
- Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during the daily routine, with ability to stand for long lengths of time; physically able to push vacuum cleaner for extended periods of time; ability to lift to 25 to 30 pounds
- Previous experience cleaning preferred; training will be provided
- Own vehicle and valid drivers license are a must
- Criminal Record Check
- Must be available to work some weekends and holidays.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $21.00 per hour
