**Overview**

Reporting to the Supervisors, the **Hydrovac Operator **is responsible for set up and dismantle the tool, fill the water tank, inspect the job site and operate the high-pressure wand for excavation purposes.

**Requirements**:
To be considered for this role, here are the skills we are looking for:

- Valid Class 1 or Class 3 license with air endorsement
- Experience operating a manual transmission with direct experience on 18 speed vehicles
- Experience as a Hydrovac Operator is an asset
- Strong manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail
- Ability to work in all weather conditions, confined spaces, isolation - Ability to work in a physically demanding atmosphere, must be able to lift and carry 50lbs+
- Self-disciplined, motivated, organized, and a team player
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks
- Excellent stamina
- Impeccable work ethic
- Reliable, hardworking, and strong attendance records
- Open to work long hours
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
- Must live in Canada to apply

**Responsibilities**

Throughout your career at No Limits Underground you will be responsible for:

- Safely and efficiently operate Hydrovac equipment for daylighting and soft excavation as required
- Care for and maintain company equipment to company standards
- Complete daily inspections and correct or report all defects immediately
- Practice proper, legal load securement
- Fill and empty Hydrovac in appropriate and approved areas
- Adhere to all NLU policies and procedures
- Maintain a positive public image of the company while complying with all NLU PPE requirements
