The Procurement Coordinator supports the Procurement Manager by assisting with the procurement and purchasing functions. This role plays a key part in maintaining relationships with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with procurement processes, and supporting project teams throughout the procurement lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in managing procurement tasks, including supporting staff coordination and maintaining accurate supplier records.
- Help maintain the master subcontractor and supplier list.
- Communicate regularly with subcontractors and suppliers to support workload and project tracking.
- Assist in developing and implementing procurement processes and documentation.
- Support the bid, negotiation, and award processes by preparing documentation and tracking requirements.
- Collaborate with Estimating and Operations teams to support competitive bid assemblies and proposal documentation.
- Assist in preparing and issuing subcontracts, tracking the completion of necessary project-specific items.
- Maintain organized records of insurance certificates, bonds, and other project-related documentation.

Qualifications:

- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in procurement or a related field, preferably within construction or heavy civil industries.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Familiarity with Smartsheet is an asset
- Familiarity with construction documentation and contract management is an asset
