**Position Overview**

We are looking for a skilled and reliable **Machine Operator** to run and maintain flexible duct production equipment in our Richmond Hill facility. The operator will be responsible for setting up machines, monitoring production, ensuring product quality, and carrying out routine maintenance. This is a hands-on technical role that requires mechanical skills, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Operate flexible duct production machines (mandrels, wrapping, sealing, cutting, and packaging equipment).
- Set up machines according to production requirements (diameter, material type, length).
- Monitor production process to ensure ducts meet required quality and certification standards.
- Inspect finished ducts for accuracy, tightness, and durability.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs on machines.
- Carry out daily machine cleaning and preventive maintenance.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and wear required protective equipment.
- Record production data (quantities, defects, downtime).
- Communicate with the supervisor regarding equipment issues or material shortages.

**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training an asset.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, machine operation, or HVAC product production preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic tools.
- Ability to read and follow technical instructions and measurements.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physically fit to handle materials and stand for long shifts.
- Team player with good communication skills.

**Compensation & Benefits**

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)
