Still Life Photography Specialist

Job Summary: Reporting to the Sr Manager, Content Production, the Still Life Photography Specialist is responsible for the execution and retouching of all still life ecommerce and social photography

Key Responsibilities:

- Knowledge of photographic techniques such as lighting and composition, etc. with a focus on product photography and a keen eye for visual aesthetics
- Style & shoot still life, flat lays, bust form photo content for ecommerce & social platforms
- Shoot and retouch PR product photography
- Ensure consistency in image creation, processing, and naming conventions
- Edit, colour-correct and rename image files in accordance to pre-established conventions
- Support post production specialist with uploading ecomm imagery to the website
- Research photography trends in order to help constantly evolve the brand
- Stay up-to-date on industry tools, techniques, and best practices in photography
- Liaises cross-functionally and with adjacent departments to ensure all parties are aligned
- Support the Content Production, Sr. Manager, and Studio Manager in all assigned tasks

To qualify for this role, you must have
- Experience shooting with studio light and natural light
- Knowledge of photo and lighting equipment
- Advanced knowledge/experience of Adobe Photoshop
- Experience with full Adobe Suite is an asset
- Knowledge of Capture One an asset
- Bilingual, both spoken and written
- A valid driver’s license
- College degree or equivalent in Photography
- Strong photography portfolio
