**Job Summary**

Essential Duties and Functions:

- Reception
- Booking of appointments/scheduling of procedures
- Billing
- Scanning and uploading of files
- Daily communication to physicians and or nurses electronically with patient concerns.
- Experience with EMR (Accuro) would be a definite asset otherwise training will be provided.
- Organization of physician's academic schedule, including meetings, rounds, teaching duties, and research projects.
Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications:

- Certificate/Diploma in Medical Office Assistant or equivalent
- A minimum of two years of experience in a specialist's office preferred
- Communicates well and can work collaboratively with team members and patients
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize duties
- Comfort and proficiency with computers (knowledge of an EMR system, particularly Accuro, would be an asset)
- Experience with organizing educational events, conferences, and seminars would be an asset
