**Position Overview**

Reporting to the Manager of Labour Relations, the Labour Relations Administrator is responsible for providing transactional recruitment and onboarding support for trades positions, and will assist with building and fostering a positive labour relations environment between our Project Teams and trade union partners.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist the Labour Relations team as required
- Support creation and maintenance of Job Descriptions as required
- Assist with the creation of onboarding documentation (offer letters, agreements, etc.)
- Responsible for working closely with work sites to ensure all transactions related to the employee life cycle are submitted accurately and within the required payroll deadlines. For example, new hire paperwork, terminations, benefits, rate/classification changes.
- Lead data audits
- Participate in committees and stakeholder committee Other duties as required

**Required Knowledge and Experience**
- Degree or diploma in Business Administration and/or Labour Relations or Human Resources is an asset
- Demonstrated experience in administration is required, minimum of 1-2 years of experience is preferred.
- Experience working with ISNet is preferred
- Knowledge of the construction industry and trade unions is an asset.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build superior working relationships
- Excellent oral and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to manage conflict is essential
- Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to multi task and to function independently
- Advanced computer skills MS Office including Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook and grievance or document management systems
- Valid Drivers License required for travel for meetings and conferences
