**Overview**
Kensei bar is a Japanese twisted vinyl listening bar serving bar bites food, cocktails, and whisky. Dim-light, cozy, Japanese decor, and some Asian style. We are serving Japanese twisted cuisine, so looking for a person who is interested Japanese cuisine, and the Asian ingredients.

**Duties**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen before and after service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling techniques at all times.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
- Participate in daily kitchen meetings to discuss menu changes, specials, or any issues that arise.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a cook or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for food handling.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other staff members.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A passion for cooking and providing exceptional food service to guests.

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
