We're looking for a front of house salon coordinator. As the Salon Coordinator, you will play a key role in the daily operations of our salon while also managing our social media presence and creating engaging content. In this role you will be working closely with the salon director to assist in managing the salon's efficiency. This multifaceted position requires strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for the beauty industry.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet clients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
- Manage appointment scheduling, including booking, rescheduling, and cancellations & coordinating the client bookings weekly, monthly and yearly.
- Process payments and maintain accurate client records.
- Manage inventory, regularly monitor stock levels and supplies and fulfill inventory orders.
- Oversee daily salon operations to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Coordinate with stylists and staff to maintain a harmonious work environment.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the salon (laundry, sweeping, wiping surfaces, and cleaning in between clients.)
- Work closely with Salon director to ensure the salon is running efficiently.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in salon coordination or a similar role preferred.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms and content creation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using social media management tools and basic photo/video editing software.
- Knowledge or experience in beauty and hair industry is an asset.
- High school diploma or higher
- 1 year experience in a customer facing role
- Canadian citizen or permanent residents ONLY
- Handling cash, payment terminals (credit and debit payments)
- Knowledge or experience in beauty and hair industry is an asset

Part-time positions are available for this role.

Pay: From $35,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
