**About the Role**:
We’re looking for someone who enjoys being at the center of it all — a salon receptionist who can keep things running smoothly while creating a warm, welcoming experience for every client. You’ll be the first face people see when they walk through our doors, so professionalism, friendliness, and strong organizational skills are a must. Experience in a salon or front desk setting is a definite plus — and if you’ve done both, even better.

This role is a great fit for someone who’s calm under pressure, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to be part of a supportive team. We’re looking for someone who wants more than just a job — someone who’s excited to grow with us over time.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet clients with a welcoming and professional attitude
- Answer client questions about services, pricing, and retail products
- Adjust and manage stylist schedules to increase appointment efficiency and availability
- Support smooth daily operations by helping stylists stay on schedule
- Support our salon team with light cleaning, laundry, and dishes as needed
- Maintain an organized reception area, ensuring it is clean and inviting at all times
- Process client payments accurately through the POS system and ensure proper cash handling and end-of-day balancing procedures are followed

- Demonstrates self-motivation by addressing tasks proactively

**Requirements**:

- Experience in a salon or front desk setting is a strong asset, but not required
- Open availability including mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Able to work at both our Ossington and Parkdale locations as scheduled

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
