Manufacturing Worker

As a tech-driven manufacturing business, WCP is the first-of-its-kind steel mill in Western Canada. WCP’s core product is checker plate - also known as floor plate or diamond plate - which is used in many industrial and commercial settings where slip resistance is required.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Practices safe work habits and reports unsafe conditions.
- Monitors equipment performance and quality of goods produced.
- Reports deficiencies and records daily production.
- Responsible for maintaining a well-organized and clean work area.
- Assist other team members in changeovers, set ups and adjustments.
- Moves materials or finished goods to and from lines as required.
**Qualifications**:
- Must be detail oriented
- Mechanically inclined
- Must be safety conscious
- Must be able to clearly communicate English verbally and written
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment would be an asset
- A valid sit-down forklift license would be an asset
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
