**Reports To**: Membership Manager
**Position Status**: Full-Time
**Compensation**: $40,000 annually
**Start Date**: Immediately
**Location**: John W. Lindsay YMCA

**The Opportunity**
**Responsibilities**
- Promote and market financial assistance programs and services to marginalized communities and partners
- Responsible for coordination of registration fees, including payment processing, billing collection and reporting processes. Assist with daily/monthly cash outs and bank deposits when required. Ensure accounts processes abide with association policy guidelines
- Responsible for the implementation, impact, and audit of the financial assistance program
- Preparation, interpretation, and report out on metrics and comply with Association reporting requirements
- Ensure appropriate record retention and security protocols in keeping with Association requirements
- Foster positive relationships with YMCA families, participants, external agencies, and community partners to further YMCA community impact and coordinate opportunities to welcome all community members through the YMCA through community outreach
- Respond to internal and external requests for information and/or assistance in a timely fashion. Foster an environment of collaboration, information sharing, and proactive support in dealings with staff, volunteers, clients, and members. Addressing any concerns in a timely manner
- Work collaboratively with Finance to ensure GL codes and revenue recognition modes assigned to financial scholarships are accurate
- Run reports as required on subsidy, membership stats and assist Association to fully leverage the tools available to grow the financial assistance programs and services
- Coordinate training requirements for bursary granted programs and services, including system training and develop specific access rules that can be audited and reported on
- Conduct, compile, and present data analytics in evaluation of all bursaries granted programs and services to ensure optimization of existing barrier free access and impact on furthering our Y mandate and achievement of operational objectives
- Membership and intake back up when required
- Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications & Skills**
- College diploma in Business, Administration, or other relative area
- Two (2) years experience in Office Administration, Program Administration, or related field
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Demonstrated ability to tactfully handle sensitive situations
- Ability to make pragmatic decisions about changing priorities, balancing workload, and prioritizing tasks accordingly
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, competing deadlines and priorities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
