Creative Content Writer

The Creative Content Writer will report to the Senior Manager, Creative Services, and assist with copy edits within our existing material and creation of new marketing pieces, that follow our existing brand voice and tone guidelines. To be successful, the Content Writer must be able to collaborate and communicate with team members at all levels, showcase a high degree of self-direction to achieve results, embrace change, remain adaptable, and be excited about driving digital transformation within food hospitality and retail.

**WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING**:

- Ability to write creative and compelling messages to engage audiences appropriately
- Follow brand standards for Compass Digital and our respective products in all marketing and communications
- Creating or expanding upon brand voice and tone guidelines for new or existing brands
- Collaborating with Marketing Managers and Graphic Designers to ensure the marketing material is visually appealing and effective
- Conducting research on target audiences and remain knowledgeable of current industry trends
- Open to learning and willing to adapt copy based on feedback
- Conducting competitor analysis
- Reviewing existing content to identify areas of improvement and ensure copy is written clearly and concisely
- Crafting creative messaging for video scripts and presentations that tell a story and push beyond what is expected
- Ability to organize your work and keep track of different aspects of a project
- Working in a Hybrid work environment, consisting of being mostly remote, with the ability to travel into the office for meetings or group events

**WHAT YOU’LL BRING**:

- Strong examples showcasing your copywriting work
- 7-10 years of Creative Copywriting experience, with a focus on product marketing
- A Bachelors degree in English, journalism, creative writing or marketing
- A wide vocabulary and high level of understanding of the English language
- Experience in marketing and/or sales
- Experience in creating multi part content for campaigns, presentations, or videos
- Understanding of the user experience on mobile apps, websites, and other digital platforms
