As a Copywriter and Photographer at Alberta Boot Company, you will play a vital role in shaping and expressing our brand identity. You'll be responsible for creating compelling content, both written and visual, that engages our audience, drives online conversions, and showcases the craftsmanship behind our products. Through detailed, on-brand, and persuasive product descriptions, as well as striking product and lifestyle photography, you'll help bring our story to life and show the world what Alberta Boot Company and Cody and Sioux truly represent. Your work will directly contribute to strengthening brand awareness, enhancing the customer experience, and driving meaningful business growth across our digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

- Write clear, compelling, and informative product descriptions
- Enrich product listings with detailed specifications, dimensions, and material information
- Tailor tone and messaging to suit different audiences and digital platforms
- Proofread and edit all written content for clarity, grammar, consistency, and brand alignment
- Utilize AI writing assistants to tailor product descriptions and visuals to improve engagement and conversion rates
- Plan and execute high-quality product photography for eCommerce and marketing use
- Coordinate and produce lifestyle photography that highlights product use and brand storytelling
- Ensure consistent image quality and visual style across all product categories and channels

Skills and Qualifications:

- 2+ years of experience in a copywriting or photography role (ideally in retail, fashion, or lifestyle)
- Strong portfolio demonstrating both writing and photography skills
- Experience using AI platforms for writing assistance and image editing
- Experience using cameras and photo editing tools (like Photoshop)
- Excellent command of English grammar, spelling, and retail-appropriate tone
- Strong understanding of eCommerce content, consumer behavior, and visual merchandising
- Ability to manage multiple projects with quick turnarounds and changing priorities
- Detail-oriented with a sharp eye for both words and visuals
