**ROLE : MICROSOFT AZURE** **LOCATION : TORONTO** **JOB DESCRIPTION**: We are looking for a Strong Data Engineering Lead for ingesting TD's call center data into TD's Azure Cloud. The consolidation of this data is essential for safekeeping TD's call center "Book of Record", and will feed our analytics engines for garnering insights using ML. **Required Skills**: Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise and coordinate with SMEs and technical partners Strong ability in breaking down technical requirements and into actionable tasks Proficient with relational databases such as MS SQL as well as SQL Scripting Proficient in building and maintaining Azure Data Factory pipelines for orchestrating data ingestion Good OOP understanding with experience in Python or Java Proficiency with Git using either Bitbucket or Github Good understanding CI / CD Concepts for building and deploying artifacts Understanding of synchronous / asynchronous data encryption and decryption Nice to haves: Experience with **Azure Databricks Notebooks or Apache Spark for data transformations** Experience **creating dashboards and monitors using Datadog** Experience with **Azure Data Lake Gen** 2 Understanding of parquet and delta lake concepts Experience with **XLR for CI/CD** Experience with Flyway for **data migrations
