We pride ourselves on delivering high quality manufacturing solutions for some of the largest brands in the world. **What Joriki offers** - Extended Health - Dental Care - Overtime Pay - RRSP Matching - Life insurance **Outline of the Role** - Assign orders to warehouse staff (production forklift, shipping forklift and sanitation team); adhere to all safety standards and operating procedures. - Follow good manufacturing practices (GMP) in the warehouse and ensure strict adherence to all housekeeping and warehouse standards. - Implements daily production and shipping plan and manages daily flow of finished products by modifying storage space assignments. - Coordinates and schedules the movement of products throughout the warehouse including storage and shipment of finished products, ingredients, raw materials, chemicals, etc. - Maintain current records of warehouse inventory; check to make sure orders are filled accurately. - Identifies and reports damaged/hold product and with approval, arranges for the repacking/clearing of the product respectively. - Documents all related activities and completes forms and reports. - Operates forklift truck as needed. - Manage and maintain the warehouse assets - Forklift, Reach Trucks, Racking, Docks, etc. - Follows all company policies and procedures. - Performs other related duties as directed. **Required Skills/Abilities**: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn product codes and terminology. - Familiarity with Six Sigma and lean management principles a plus - Proficient in Microsoft Office - Experience in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Systems Applications and Products in Data Processing (SAP) software. - Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures. - Good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments relative to inventory. **Education and Experience**: - High school diploma or equivalent required. - Valid state motor vehicle operators license for forklift truck required. - At least two years of work experience in a warehouse required. **Physical Requirements**: - Ability to lift 15 pounds at times. - Ability to move around the warehouse and production floor. - Ability to work in refrigerated environment (< 4 deg) for extended period. **Additional Information** - Day shift (5:30am - 2:30pm, Mon - Fri) - Afternoon shift (1:30pm - 9:30pm, Mon - Fri) - Night shift (9:30pm - 6:30am, Sun - Thur) - Alternating weekends **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: $25.00 per hour Work Location: One location
