**Job Corps Services - Casual Labourer**

Job Corps Services is a part of Akamihk Kanataskiy Ventures Ltd which operates under the umbrella of MFN Management Inc.

Job Corps Services provides services to Montana First Nation, its members and to AKV entities.

Montana Integrated Services Department (MISD) approves and requests services for the elders and the infirm.

These services are requested to be completed by Job Corps Services.

Job Corps Services provides the services as requested by the Montana Integrated Services Department. We also provide services to the other AKV entities.

JCS also provides a learning and coaching environment for its casual workers and helps them to progress to more advanced and more permanent work. Workers are encouraged to be at work every day, to be punctual, and to follow the direction of the team leader.

The work performed by Job Corps Services employees is seasonal general labour work. It includes and is not limited to landscaping, grass cutting, brush cutting, tree cutting, cleaning up garbage, snow removal, ice control and other duties that arise.

Experience working with Indigenous people is required.

Class 5 Driver’s license is required

Current Clean Driver’s Abstract is required.

Successful completion of Grade 9 or higher is required.

Grade 12 Diploma or GED is desirable.
