**About us**:
Busy Notary office located in Nanaimo, BC. We are professional and aim to provide quality legal services.

**Duties include but are not limited to**:

- Day-to-day in-office conveyancing of sales, refinances and purchases, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in document preparation and submission.
- Reviewing and analyzing real estate contracts.
- Communicating with sellers and buyers of properties for sale and/or purchase.
- Preparing files for signing, registration and reporting.
- Assist with drafting of Wills, Power of Attorney and Representation Agreements.
- Maintain organization and attention to detail across multiple files and deadlines.
- Ability to multitask and work in a high pace environment.
- Providing support to the team as needed.
- Continuously learn and adapt to new technology, procedures, and legal requirements.

**Qualifications**:

- Legal Assistant - 2 years (preferred).
- Experience with conveyancing software, BC Registry, MyLTSA; bank portals and title insurance.
- Strong knowledge of the following skills: Real Estate, Conveyancing Software and Trust Accounting. Real Estate knowledge is required.
- Proficient in Office 365 specifically in Word and Outlook with the ability to draft professional correspondence with clients and other contacts including other law offices.
- Must be able to work on-site and eligible to work in Canada.

**What We Offer**:

- Competitive salary within the range of $45,000 - $65,000, based on experience and qualifications.
