**SAP Functional Analyst - Business Process and Solutions Advisor (BPSA) - Solution Scope - Customer Relationship Management (CRM) - One (1) Resource** - The organization uses the title "Business Process and Solutions Advisor (BPSA)" in its work environment for resources corresponding to business/functional analyst profiles._ **Primary Activities** The following is a non-exhaustive list of key activities that may need to be performed: - Optimize the processes under their responsibility in alignment with the organization's strategic direction, best practices supported by the enterprise resource planning (ERP) software vendor, and expected benefits. - Ensure coherence and integration of business processes during optimization. - Conduct detailed analyses of business process requirements and document them. - Identify gaps between business needs and the ERP system, and propose workarounds or alternative solutions as necessary. - Configure the ERP system and document required changes according to the adopted methodology. - Design, customize, configure, and test ERP modules. - Identify deficiencies, problems, and alternative solutions. - Investigate, analyze, and resolve ERP-related issues for problem-solving. - Proactively identify and suggest system improvements. - Provide consulting services on new implementations and ongoing support projects. - Assess feasibility and measure the profitability and benefits of change requests (CRs) under their responsibility. - Act as an intermediary between business functions and the technical team. - Draft functional specifications. - Write and execute test scenarios. - Configure solutions based on functional requirements. - Produce gap and impact analyses on existing RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows). - Provide significant technical and functional support during deployment phases. - Support and occasionally manage incident and anomaly handling. - Facilitate team meetings and workshops. - Participate in committees such as the Solution Change Advisory Committee (SCAC) and the Architecture Committee. - Monitor SAP solutions/modules to maximize the use of SAP standard functionalities. - Ensure process compliance with the Business Process Hierarchy (BPH). - Deliver training and user support. **Key Deliverables** The following is a non-exhaustive list of main deliverables that may need to be produced: - Feasibility, risk, and gap analyses. - Proposals for improvements and opportunities. - Performance evaluations. - Cost and effort assessments. - Functional specifications, test scenarios, and configurations. **Profile Requirements: Minimum Expectations (Senior Level)** 1. **Experience in IT**: - At least eight (8) years of experience in information technology. 2. **Experience with SAP**: - At least five (5) years of experience in information systems and IT management across various SAP domains. 3. **Application Development Experience**: 4. **Recent Relevant Projects**: - Over the past five (5) years, a minimum of 480 person-days of work completed within a maximum of five (5) relevant assignments, involving the activities and deliverables outlined above for this profile and module in organizations comparable to the current one in size and technological environment. 5. **Solution Integration Projects**: 6. **ERP Adaptation Experience**: - Over the past five (5) years, a minimum of two (2) relevant assignments of 100 person-days each, involving the adaptation of native ERP functionalities to the organization's business domain. **Job Type**: Fixed term contract Contract length: 12 months Pay: $57.31-$85.00 per hour Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Monday to Friday **Education**: - Bachelor's Degree (preferred) Expected start date: 2025-01-07
