Change Manager, Business Transformation

As the Change Manager of Business Transformation you will play a key role in ensuring change initiatives meet objectives on time and budget by increasing coworker adoption and usage. The role will focus on the people side of change including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organizational structures. You will focus on the activities required to help individual stakeholders understand, adjust to and adopt the new practice, item, process or tool that a project is implementing.
The Change Manager's primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies that maximize coworker adoption and minimize resistance. You will take responsibility for creating a condition of readiness across the enterprise to gain value from what is delivered or changed through the efforts of the program or project. This role is responsible for leading, directing, coordinating and providing visibility into CDW's change management efforts.
The Change Manager is a multifaceted role that interfaces with various stakeholders enterprise wide. Incumbents are responsible for embedding organizational change management practices into the organization's operations to achieve the desired business outcomes. The Change Manager will conduct thorough methodological investigations to identify key stakeholders impacted by the change and determine appropriate timing of that change. You will conduct an environment scan to identify potential challenges for stakeholders, such as skills gaps, doubts and uncertainties, to foster a positive acceptance of change.
The Change Manager will act as a coach for senior leaders and executives in helping them fulfill the role of change sponsor. The Change Manager may also provide direct support and coaching to frontline managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through transitions. The Change Manager will also support project teams in integrating change management activities into their project plans.
**What you'll do**
- Employ a structured change management methodology to facilitate change and promote commitment to adapt to the change
- Promote business vision through a benefit framework linking change adoption to successful business outcomes
- Create a communications strategy and plan to ensure all employees are fully aware of impending changes
- Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
- Support change management at the Canadian organizational level
- Conduct impact assessments for stakeholders affected by the change items to ensure readiness using industry leading tools.
- Tailor change management plans to accommodate the needs of the different stakeholder groups and to be culturally appropriate for the enterprise and program
- Regularly review the stakeholder community to assess potential change fatigue
- Identify pitfalls and potential points of challenge or change aversion, analyze, and prepare risk mitigation tactics
- Identify and provide leadership for change agents and change advocates within the stakeholder community
- Promote and provide ongoing coaching and mentoring about change management practices to senior leadership, stakeholder managers, and project managers to increase their effectiveness in driving sustainable change
- Perform quantitative assessment of change success and change adoption ensure that behavioral changes align with strategic objectives
- Develop key business relationships to discover opportunities and elevate change awareness
**What you need to succeed**
**Must-have**:
- A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process; experience with - Prosci ADKAR® Model is a plus
- Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools
- Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal
- Excellent active listening skills
- Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
- Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
- Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders for a positive outcome
- Demonstrated ability to take a business need and offer a strategic solution with the company's direction in mind
- Ability to team effectively with others and build relationships at all levels of the organization
- Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics
- Problem solving and root cause identification skills
- Strong experience in change management to drive organizational impact
- Consistently deliver excellent work product at a high level of service
- Demonstrated experience in working with diverse teams
- Prosci Change Management Certification or equivalent
**Nice-to-have**:
- Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
- Postsecondary education in business, technology or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Experience with large-scale organizational change
