**Description**:
The Account Manager, Pool is responsible for the execution of the Pool Division sales strategy through planning, implementing, controlling, monitoring and and evaluating the Sales plan.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manages the development of new business and the retention of existing business for the Pool sales division
- Develops and cultivates customer relationships with the appropriate decision makers within new and existing customer base
- Manages contact with customers, resolves specialized problems
- Participates in the development of the strategic business plan that meets the goals and objectives of the Industrial Sales team
- Participates in the annual budget and sales plan for the Pool division and reports progress towards plan goals on an on-going basis to CGT senior leadership
- Achieves departmental objectives by contributing marketing and sales information, preparing and completing action plans and reporting out progress; resolving problems; implementing change in the areas of new and existing business development
- Determine and present the trends in terms of wants and needs of our pool customer base
- Identifies and evaluates risks to the organization's people, property, finances, goodwill, and image and communicates to senior leaders. Recommends and manages measures to control risks
- Establishes good working relationships and collaborative arrangements with internal and external customers to achieve the goals of the organization
- Follows and participates in the delivery of human resources policies, procedures and practices including the development of job descriptions, orientation and training plans and performance management processes where applicable
- Other related duties as assigned
**Skills, Knowledge and Expertise**:
Bachelor of Business Administration or equivalent
2+ years of experience in a sales role, preferably in the pool industry
Strong relationship-building skills across various levels of the organization as well as with customers, suppliers, etc.
Collaborative mindset with a drive for excellence
Willingness to travel (75-100 days per year) - G driver's license and updated passport with the ability to freely cross international borders are required
Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
