As the **Demand Planning Manager**, you will be accountable for managing the rolling 52wk customer specific demand forecast (both Canada and US businesses), focusing on advancing internal revenue targets and supporting customer fill / forecast rates. You will facilitate ongoing collaboration with customers and internal teams in sell-through reviews, monitoring customer inventory levels, aligning on future consensus forecasts, and assisting in the development of replenishment plans to balance internal and external needs. You will also be accountable for leading a team of 2 Demand Planners.

This is a remote position, with flexibility to work anywhere in Canada (being mindful that operations run primarily on EST).
**What you’ll be doing**:
- Ownership of rolling 52wk statistical forecast models (item/SKU/Wk level) based on historical sales data, commercial plans, customer insights and broader industry trends
- Perform weekly forecast accuracy and outlier reviews, determine root causes of forecast bias and error, and implement necessary corrective actions within the forecast and demand signals
- Coach team of Demand Planners to build functional expertise and support individual career needs and growth
- Seamlessly communicate forecast changes and future requirements to cross functional partners to assist with production scheduling, purchasing, inventory planning and revenue forecasting.
- Assist with optimization of customer inventory levels to minimize RTVs and financial write down exposure
- Collaborate frequently with Sales to ensure alignment and accuracy between SC and Financial estimates
- Facilitate consensus conversations with customers and internal teams in management of sell-through reviews, inventory levels, future forecasts, and replenishment plans. Coordinate and align Sales and Supply Chain teams on actions necessary to support customer needs (inventory, delivery dates, etc.)
- Lead the development of innovation / launch forecasts for new products, seasonal products, line extensions, and new customer listings.
- Support the organization with inventory risk assessments and mitigation activities
- Identify and drive proactive, data driven, incremental opportunities to maximize revenue, collaborating with customers and internal teams to execute
- Additional ad hoc assignments as required
**You’ll need to have**:
- 5+ years’ experience in Customer Supply Chain and/or Demand Planning within CPG, Cannabis, or other similar Industry
- Formal people leadership experiences
- University degree Experience with SAP preferred
- High attention to detail
- High sense of urgency with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and relationship skills to develop and cultivate professional working relationships with both internal and external customers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to identify/resolve root cause issues
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs of the business
- Proven self-starter who will drive change and improvement opportunities
- Strong team player with a desire to work in a team environment
- Advanced level in MS Office (particularly Excel).
