About the Opportunity

As a Demand Generation Manager, you'll lead AI-powered, multi-channel demand generation initiatives that drive qualified leads and accelerate client engagement across the US and Canada.

This is a fixed-term contract role created to support a temporary business need. The duration of the contract is currently unknown and may change based on business requirements. There is no guarantee of extension or conversion to a permanent role.

This cross-functional role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution across event marketing, intelligent business development systems, and partner marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities

Automated Business Development

  • Lead and optimize AI-driven business development systems targeting engaged, in-market prospects during the contract term.
  • Use platforms such as to enable intelligent prospecting and automated outreach.
  • Build and manage multi-touch campaigns using tools like Zapier and HubSpot workflows.
  • Partner with Sales to establish SLAs for lead handoff and follow-up, supported by automation and alerts.

Event Marketing Leadership

  • Design and execute event marketing strategies for conferences, trade shows, and industry gatherings.
  • Implement AI-powered pre-event booking strategies to maximize engagement with qualified prospects.
  • Plan and support executive dinners and industry roundtables showcasing Orium's expertise.

Partner Marketing Coordination

  • Collaborate with internal partner managers and external technology partners on co-marketing initiatives.
  • Recommend and support Market Development Fund (MDF) spend allocation.
  • Develop joint marketing plans leveraging partner ecosystems.
  • Document partner marketing playbooks and best practices.

Knowledge Transfer & Continuity

  • Document campaigns, workflows, tools, and processes to ensure continuity and effective handover.
Skills and Qualifications
  • 3+ years of B2B marketing experience with a focus on demand generation or business development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AI, automation, and marketing technology tools.
  • Experience using , Zapier, HubSpot Marketing Hub, and Salesforce CRM.
  • Proven success delivering event marketing programs with measurable pipeline impact.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset.
  • Experience working with technology partners and MDF programs.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Background in technology, consulting, or professional services is an asset.

Compensation and Hiring Transparency 
  • Expected Compensation: $80,000–$110,000 CAD annualized base salary. Orium lists this range in good faith, reflecting expected compensation for this role in the specified locations as of this posting. Final offers consider education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, location, internal equity, and business needs. This is a contract position and is not eligible for employee benefits.
  • Use of AI in Hiring: To keep the process efficient and focused on human connection, we use AI-enabled and automated tools for tasks like candidate communications and scheduling, interview note-taking, and summarizing feedback for hiring teams. Our recruiters and hiring managers review all information, and humans make every hiring decision.
