San Gennaro is a family owned and operated café that prides itself on being at the forefront of roman-style pizza, desserts and coffee culture in Montreal.

We are currently looking for a pizza maker who will be responsible for making a variety of pizzas according to San Gennaro recipes in the morning from 6 am to 1:30 pm Monday to Thursday. Other shifts are also available for more hours.

This position involves preparing the pizza dough, cutting and slicing various ingredients to be used as toppings, as well as making other foods. The pizza maker is also responsible to maintain a clean workstation while properly following kitchen safety protocol.
- ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES_
- Prepare pizzas according to San Gennaro recipes
- Prepare pizza dough and ingredients
- Monitor the temperature of the pizza ovens as well as cooking times
- Manage all food orders and ensure they are completed in a timely manner
- Hand off and package pizzas accordingly
- Ensure food preparation and storage areas are clean and meet health and safety standards
- Make other menu items with the support of the kitchen staff
- Monitor inventory
- QUALIFICATIONS_
- Experience with food preparation and food handling
- Ability to follow recipes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to co-operate and work in a team
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Minimum one-year experience in a similar role
