With over thirty years of experience, Alta Care Resources has a history of innovative and creative programming in the areas of; group care, crisis response, resiliency training, early intervention/prevention programs and family-based intervention.

The _Resiliency Project _provides a wide spectrum of services to meet the unique needs of children, youth, and families at risk. Resiliencies that strengthen families and enhance permanency, opportunities are discovered and nurtured through relational interventions.

The **_Resiliency Development Manager - Family Specialist_** is responsible for maintaining or increasing the level of safety, well-being, permanency, and connection to supports available to their clients. The Resiliency Development Manager - Family Specialist provides services to parents of children who are involved with Children’s Services that are experiencing crisis or high-risk behaviors, such as neglect towards their children, drug and alcohol addictions, homeless and involvement in the Criminal Justice System and as such have significant safety concerns for themselves and their children. The _Resiliency Development Manager - Family Specialist_ will provide de-escalation and stabilization to person(s) served that are in a state of crisis and ensure safety plans meet the unique needs of each child in the home or in care.

**Qualifications**
- A diploma or degree in human services field diploma or fully certified within their field of practice and 2 years of work-related experience in a human services field
- Excellent communication skills and organizational skills
- Demonstrated skills in high-stress or conflict situations
- A reliable vehicle and Driver’s License with proof of appropriate insurance, and a Drivers Abstract and Insurance Claim letter that reflects safe driving habits

**Other Requirements**: A current, clear Police Information Check (vulnerable sector included) and Child Intervention Record Check, both dated within the last 6 months. A valid AB driver’s license (minimum class 5), proof of appropriate insurance, a Drivers Abstract and Insurance Claim letter that reflects safe driving habits.

**Schedule**:Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day within any agency programs. Note that this is a schedule based on the availability of the families you are serving and has evening hours based on your assigned family’s needs.

**Work Conditions**
- Ability to engage in physical activities with persons served
- Significant lifting, carrying, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling
- Interacts with support staff and the public at large
- **Must be able to safely perform restraints**
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Travel is required, staff provide their own reliable vehicle at all times
- Irregular hours and available after hours

**Compensation**
- **Base Salary Rate $56,160 ($27.00/hour)**
