Reporting to the Manager of Communication and Information Services within the Corporate Support Branch, the incumbent is responsible for publishing and maintaining all department websites and ensuring they meet accessibility and Government of Manitoba standards.
Conditions of Employment:

Qualifications:
**Essential**:
- Post-secondary education and training in web-based technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Experience with web publishing and graphic design tools including: Adobe Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro, Microsoft SharePoint web publishing, HTML and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
- Experience in website planning, design, development, and management
- Experience in planning and project management including managing and leading multiple projects
- Excellent written communication skills including web editing principles and practices as applied to communications for internal and external audiences
- Excellent verbal communication skills to be able to communicate ideas and solutions
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Ability to be proactive in defining and resolving problems in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality of information
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose technical problems and implement solutions
**Desired**:
- Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate in French
**Duties**:
The Web Coordinator is the primary contact for web-related issues and is responsible to manage the content approval process and verify content for consistency, accuracy and ensuring they meet accessibility and Government of Manitoba (GOM) standards. The incumbent formats web pages, creates visuals/graphics and structures navigation while working within the framework of GOM templates. They ensure that all external and internal department websites are easy to use and navigate and they provide policy, procedural, technical direction and support to divisional web contacts.
