Parker Pet Care is Toronto's largest and most prestigious animal care facility, offering daycare, lodging and grooming services for dogs and cats at two locations in the GTA. We are looking to add a skilled, passionate, intelligent and driven individual to our client care team at our Scarborough location (1381 Meadowvale Road) The Client Care Specialist acts as the point person for the front end of the business, and works within the client care team. Although client care staff are focused on the "humans", we are handling animals all day every day, and have a close working relationship with the animal care staff. They must also have a strong desire to learn and grow personally and professionally in their role. **Core Skills** **Customer Service **is at the heart of what we do. We don't believe that excellent customer service comes from experience, we believe it comes from caring about people, watching and listening, and being able to make a real connection. **Animal Experience **to be competent and confident in both handling and talking about people's family pets. Professional experience with animals is not required, however, people without this background often have to work hard to build their knowledge to the appropriate level. **Spoken and Written Ability **are essential. Communication is at the very core of our business. **Teamwork**:We work as part of a team. Kindness, respect, and the ability to give and receive feedback are key. **Compensation** $18.00 - $20.00 based on experience, 40 hours per week on average.
