We are looking for a highly motivated, organized, and professional individual to join our team as a **Bookkeeper/Front Desk Receptionist**.
As a **bookkeeper** you will be responsible for managing financial transactions and providing essential administrative support, including front-line customer service. If you’re a multitasker with a passion for both numbers and people, we want to hear from you
As the **Front Desk Receptionist**, you will greet visitors, answer phone calls, and provide excellent customer service to create a positive first impression of our company.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Bookkeeping Duties**:
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and receipts.
- Reconcile bank statements with company records and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in preparing financial reports (e.g., balance sheets, income statements, cash flow).
- Manage payroll processing, including deductions, bonuses, and taxes.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax filing.
- Monitor and track company expenses, adhering to budget guidelines.
**Front Desk Receptionist Duties includes**:
- Greeting clients, visitors, and vendors warmly and professionally.
- Answer incoming phone calls, direct them to the appropriate department, and take messages when necessary.
- Manage scheduling and appointment coordination for mortgage staff and clients.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area.
- Assist with office supplies, mail, and other general administrative duties as needed.
- Perform data entry and ensure that client information is accurately recorded and maintained.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1-2 years of administrative experience; experience in the mortgage or real estate industry is a preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written.
- Proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office, Google Suite,quickbook, xero etc.) and basic office equipment (phones, printers, fax machines).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Customer-focused with a positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $3,100.00-$3,500.00 per month
Additional pay:
- Bonus pay
- Commission pay
