**Position Overview**:
The Athena Healthcare Products Assembly Supervisor and Quality Lead is a key role that combines supervisory and quality leadership responsibilities to ensure compliance, efficiency, and excellence in the assembly of our healthcare product line and the broader fabrication department.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Athena Long-Term Care Bed Product Line**
- Train assembly personnel on best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and product-specific requirements.
- Enforce adherence to standard practices and procedures throughout the assembly process.
- Oversee and enforce quality systems, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal standards.
- Monitor production targets to ensure they are met while maintaining quality and safety.
**Fabrication Department Quality Oversight**
- Oversee quality policies and procedures across the fabrication department.
- Conduct regular audits of facility quality systems and procedures.
- Ensure all quality policy and procedure documentation is up to date, accurate, and effectively communicated.
- Develop and implement improvements to quality systems in collaboration with department leadership.
**Qualifications**:
**Experience**: Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role within manufacturing, preferably in healthcare products or similar industries.
**Education**: Post-secondary education in manufacturing, engineering, quality assurance, or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered.
**Knowledge**: Strong understanding of quality systems, compliance standards, and manufacturing processes. Experience with healthcare product assembly is an asset.

- Proficiency in quality management systems and audit practices.
Pay: $30.00-$33.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
