**Where others see a checklist, you see a system.**
At **Vitalus**, we believe in improving lives by unlocking the nutritional value of milk — and we can’t do it without a strong quality team. As a **Quality Assurance Analyst**, you’ll play a key role in **safeguarding our food safety systems**, driving internal audits, and ensuring continuous improvement across the plant. This is your chance to dig deep into real-world quality systems, lead activities associated with product release, maintain quality systems, and collaborate across teams— all while contributing to a purpose-driven organization guided by **care, expertise, and integrity**.
**IS THIS YOU?**
- ** Experienced in quality assurance** and energized by continuous improvement — you know how to spot gaps, find fixes, and build systems that last.
- ** Detail-driven and proactive**, you’re not just checking boxes — you’re asking smart questions, chasing root causes, and following up until the job’s done right.
- ** Ready to make an impact** in a growing company where quality is more than compliance — it’s part of our purpose.
If this sounds like you, let’s talk
**WHAT YOU’LL DO**
- ** Strengthen Our Systems**- Facilitate positive release of products by reviewing batch documentation, ensuring products meet in-house internal limits and customer-specific requirements
- Track non-conformances, validations, and changes to make sure nothing slips through the cracks
- Monitor the facility (inside and out) to ensure we stay aligned with food safety regulations and quality standards
- Lead customer complaints investigations with a problem-solving mindset — work with teams to identify root causes and build strong corrective actions
- ** Elevate Our Documentation**- Review SOPs, log sheets, and policies to ensure accuracy, clarity, and real-world alignment
- Route documents through our change management process — and help teams keep things up to date and compliant
- ** Be a Cross-Functional Quality Partner**- Deliver internal training based on QA priorities — help others understand the _why_ behind the rules
- Participate in cross-functional committees and provide QA support across departments
- Support the vendor approval program by collecting facility documentation and ensuring standards are met
- ** Jump In Where Needed**- Cross-train within the QA team to help cover absences and keep the wheels turning — even when things get busy
**WHAT YOU’LL BRING**
- Diploma in Food Science, Biotechnology, or a related field (or a BSc with at least 2 years' experience)
- Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and FSSC 22000 requirements
- Experience coordinating internal audits, reviewing SOPs, and leading CAPA processes
- Clear communicator with strong follow-through and a collaborative mindset
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and data analysis tools
