Warehouse Operations Coordinator

- What you will be doing
- PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- For 3PL -organizing pick tickets and sorting them into the appropriate pick bins before distributing them to pickers.
- Ensure signed documentation of transfers to specialty is completed accurately.
- Responsible to schedule/reschedule appointments for inbound freight
- Validating freight arrival vs schedule and contacting carrier for confirmation
- Confirm and acknowledge the receipt validation process and follow up with receivers for uncompleted receipts.
- Maintain customer priority orders list and coordinate accordingly with customer service
- Stay current with order cancellations and modifications and communicate accordingly
- Provide backup support to Shippers and Inventory control when necessary including re-work and resources coordination
- Performs general administrative tasks such as ordering warehousing supplies
- Update 3PL KPI spreadsheets daily For eg: Picking errors.
- Forward shipping manifests to the client on request
- Assists with a variety of scheduled and unscheduled projects occurring in the department at any given time. For eg: Providing dimensions for cartons
- Interacts frequently with inter-departmental associates and management for resolving workload issues.
- Adhere to all procedures and work instructions in performing the job
What your background should look like
- EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Post-secondary education or equivalent in a related discipline;
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a warehouse customer service role

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment;
- Strong work ethic, sense of responsibility, high level of attention to detail;
- Proactive customer focus;
- Ability to work in a team and independently as well as with mínimal supervision;
- Self-starter, efficient, organized;
- Capable of consistently producing high quality work under pressure and in a timely fashion;
- Strong proficiency in order entry systems;
- Excellent problem solving ability; and
- Bilingualism, English & French is considered an asset.
