As a **Line Cook** at SmoQue Shack Gatineau, you'll be at the heart of our operation, ensuring every plate that leaves our kitchen is a testament to our commitment to quality and flavour. You'll play a vital role in bringing the SmoQue Shack experience to our Gatineau customers.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- **Crafting Culinary Delights**: Prepare and cook our signature menu items with precision and passion, adhering to our established recipes and high standards.
- **Contributing to Kitchen Excellence**: Actively participate in daily kitchen operations, from prepping ingredients to executing cooking tasks with efficiency.
- **Maintaining a Pristine Workspace**: Take pride in keeping your kitchen area clean, organized, and in full compliance with all food safety regulations.
- **Collaborating for Seamless Service**: Work closely with fellow kitchen team members to ensure smooth and timely meal preparation and service that delights our guests.
- **Keeping the Flames Fueled**: Monitor food supply levels and assist with inventory management and ordering as needed.
- **Championing Food Safety**: Uphold the highest standards of food handling techniques to guarantee the safety and exceptional quality of every dish.
- **Sharing Your Expertise**: Participate in training new kitchen staff, sharing your knowledge of cooking techniques and safety protocols.

**What You'll Bring to the Table**:

- **Proven Culinary Skills**: Demonstrated proficiency in a variety of cooking techniques and methods within a restaurant setting.
- **Food Safety Expertise**: A solid understanding of food safety practices and regulations within the food industry.
- **Composure Under Pressure**: The ability to work efficiently and maintain meticulous attention to detail, even during peak service times.
- **Exceptional Communication**: Excellent communication skills that foster effective collaboration with your fellow team members.
- **Equipment Familiarity**: Comfortable operating standard kitchen equipment, including ovens, grills, fryers, and slicers.
- **A Positive and Team-Oriented Spirit**: An enthusiastic attitude and a genuine willingness to support and assist others in the kitchen environment.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
