We are looking for someone to oversee company financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations. They perform daily accounting tasks such as monthly financial reporting, general ledger entries, record payments and adjustments and employee benefit management.

**Responsibilities**:

- Establish and maintain vendor accounts.
- Maintaining records of financial transactions by posting and verifying
- Define policies and procedures, creating policies where necessary
- Maintain systems to account for financial transactions.
- Maintain accounts by posting, verifying and allocating transactions.
- Reconciling entries to balance accounts
- Maintaining a balanced general ledger
- Completing journal entries
- Preparing financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing accounting for information
- Monitoring for variances from the projected budget
- Assist management on compliance needs
- Assisting in financial activities such as but not limited to payroll.
- Manage new and existing employee files.
- Manage company benefit plan.
- Process Payroll
- Manage and Process T4s and ROEs
- Complete government submissions
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Proficient in accounting and payroll processes
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks and Workday
- Strong data entry and analysis skills
- Familiarity with accounts payable and receivable functions
- Knowledge of HRIS systems like ADP and PeopleSoft
- Ability to perform account reconciliation and bookkeeping tasks
- Previous experience in a finance or human resources role is preferred

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
