SVRS provides residential services and treatment for dependent and semi-dependent male and female persons with developmental disabilities and special needs, who present with a wide range of functioning levels, emotional and behavioural challenges.

SVRS has 5 residential homes in the Kingston area that are dedicated care homes for our clients and staff. We are looking for experienced people to fill a **Weekend Casual** contract for the behavioural counselor positions in a residential setting.

**What we’re looking for**:

- University degree or college diploma in social services, and experience working with individuals with special needs. As a casual weekend staff this is a great opportunity for student enrolled on a social service field.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, drivers abstract and a vehicle
- Criminal reference check for working with vulnerable individuals
- Professional and personal references
- Standard First
- aid and CPR a requirement

**What you’ll be doing in this role**:

- Shifts include; day, evening, overnight awake and sleep-overs on weekends
- Our homes are located in Kingston, Harrowsmith and Odessa areas. They are residential homes with 6-7 clients per home with 20 working staff members

**Salary**: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
