**Description:
- Permanent Full Time**Job Title**:The Associate Financial Reporting Manager role supports the financial reporting, analysis, and operational processes for Global Technology Finance. This role is responsible for the execution of month end and quarter end responsibilities inclusive of preparing routine and ad hoc reports. The incumbent will utilize Technology Business Management standards and methodology to provide guidance and support to Technology Leaders and the OCIO (Office of the CIO) Finance team on various IT financial aspects. This role will contribute to the design, implementation, enhancement, and ongoing operations of IT financial processes, procedures, controls, and systems - in support of the evolution of IT financial practices and the IT financial management systems roadmap. In addition, the Associate Manager will participate in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes and facilitate accumulation of financial results.**What you will do**:
- Work as part of a team to execute on financial management reporting requirements - including executing on routine activities and assessing stakeholder needs to deliver new financial views
- Support IT Leaders and OCIO Finance in the analysis and management of IT investments - including impact analysis, variance analysis, total cost of ownership analysis, service rate analysis, and affordability analysis
- Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes with a focus on accuracy, expense continuity, and process improvement
- Interpret and communicate key performance metrics and findings to influence IT decision-making processes in a proactive manner - including business case development and run rate impacts of IT initiatives
- Actively contribute to IT financial management systems design, implementation, operation, and strategic roadmap
- Support month-end and quarter-end financial processes and reconciliation controls
- Support creation and maintenance of process and governance documentation
- Provide leadership and mentorship to support the success of a high performing team
**What you will bring**:
- Professional accounting designation (CPA) or Bachelor of Commerce degree and working towards an accounting designation
- Minimum five years of directly related experience in financial reporting and analysis, communicating financial results, and supporting financial processes, policies, and controls
- Analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Interpersonal skills; demonstrated through communication skills and building and maintaining collaborative partnerships across the organization
- Attention to detail with ability to seek pertinent data, anticipate questions, recognize what is important, and look beyond usual methods
- Customer focused attitude with a drive for innovation - recognizing stakeholder needs and suggesting improvements or making appropriate recommendations as required
- Ability to prioritize work assignments and adjust as additional priorities materialize
- Initiative to act without prompting and generate ideas to recommend change or improvement
- Ability to remain optimistic in the midst of change and demonstrate flexibility with changing environments, tasks, and responsibilities
- Leadership and mentorship skills that enhance the performance of a team
- The base salary for this position is between **$61,900****:
- $114,500** annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
