We are currently seeking an experienced live-in Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance and caretaking work at a luxury rental building at the downtown of New Westminster. This community offers an unprecedented blend of sophistication combined with exceptional convenience and amenities that make daily living easy and enjoyable.
**Responsibilities**:
The position will be responsible for regular, preventative, and corrective maintenance and repair work in suites and common property. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Fixture installation (i.e., faucets, lights, etc.)
- Minor appliance repair
- Minor plumbing repairs (i.e., drain unclogging)
- Minor suite repairs such as basic carpentry, drywall patching, and sanding
- Minor maintenance of heating, plumbing and electrical systems
- Painting as needed
- Power washing as needed
- Attend to emergencies
- Complete tenant move in/out reports and ensure building security is maintained
- Schedule and supervise contractors
- Request Purchase Orders for all work and/or supplies being undertaken at the property
- Prepare detailed Incident Reports related to accidents, altercations and damage to the property and/or other applicable incidents
- Satisfy fire code requirements
- Other duties as may be required from time to time.
**Qualifications**
- Ability to live on-site full time required
- Self-motivated with the ability to take directions and work without supervision
- Has a professional work ethic
- Excellent customer service and communication skills

- Knowledge and/or experience regarding electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance is considered an asset
