**About us**

Urban International School (UIS) is a private high school in Toronto inspected by the Ontario Ministry of Education in Ontario, Canada. Over the last decade, we have offered specialized academic courses that are designed for students who wish to pursue higher education in Canada and around the world. Based on the program students wish to pursue in post-secondary school, UIS prepares a customized study plan that underlies one of our four streams: Engineering, Science/Math, Business, Arts or College. Most of our graduates are accepted in prestigious universities such as the University of Toronto, University of British Columbia, McGill University, among many other Canadian and international universities.

UIS has a friendly and dedicated team of Ontario-certified teachers who teach courses from Grade 7 to Grade 12 to a diverse student body that includes students from Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and South America.

**About the Position**

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Work with marketing staff to create an effective Admission Department focus on the enrollment process and academic process.
- Enroll students in compliance with school policies and procedures.
- Preparing/Assisting Principal/Vice Principal in determining and scheduling our courses for upcoming semesters based on the enrollment status.
- Representation of the school in promotional events, such as educations fairs, various agents' events and so on to increase student registration
- Organizing and creating digital/physical file folders for new/current students such as Ontario Student Record.
- Assisting Principal/Vice Principal in enrolling students in compliance with school policies and procedures
- Provide information regarding student life and assessment tests.
- Presentation of any school official events such as orientation sessions, school assembly or any other school events along with the Principal/Vice Principal
- Works in collaboration with the Multimedia Team to develop school marketing materials.
- Prepare an orientation/information session on programs for prospective students and organize school events including organizing University Admission Seminars.
- Coordinate marketing and recruitment team by supporting event logistics including invitations, mailing list, handout materials, site management, speakers, visual presentation and follow-up efforts.
- Preparing and producing marketing materials for local and overseas clients such as educational agencies, parents, and students when required.
- Provide a wide range of student wellness and activity services when needed.
- Responsible for student registration and admission tasks and other student services such as homestay, residence, and summer camp for students.
- Daily Admission tasks such as invoicing, study plan, and document management for students.
- Continue to provide a good academic/school service to the current students through the school communication system.
- Support and manage homestay/residence bookings for students along with the head of accommodations.
- Other duties as assigned by the senior management team.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- **Speaking English and Second Language such as Persian/Farsi.**:

- Asset to have a standard level of knowledge of the Ontario Curriculum including OUAC and OCAS systems.
- Asset to have knowledge and experience with the educational industry as a guidance officer or student counselor, especially in private high schools or other educational industries.
- Previous knowledge and experience with Canada Student Visa Experience
- Works collaboratively with staff members
- A degree in education, languages, business, education, or related field
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong administration and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proven goal-driven student service campaigns in both on/offlin

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $40,000.00 per year
