We are seeking a **ESL & HIGH SCHOOL COORDINATOR** for the upcoming semester.

**This position is expected to work on-site at the High School’s campus; **_**it is NOT a remote job.**_
- **Core Duties/Responsibilities**_

**Administrative & Coordinator**:

- Abide by all Company policies, guidelines and standard operating practices
- Conduct communications and behavior in a cooperative, respectful and polite manner with all contact points
- Participate in professional development activities as scheduled;
**ESL & TESOL**:

- Develop and have a strong understanding of the ESL Pathway Program including, but not limited to: Choosing ESL materials and developing ESL curriculum’ building relationships with Colleges and universities and develop suitable ESL Programs at Ace;
- Participate in High School Partnership activities, such as conducting lectures and training teachers in partner schools, and other marketing related activities
- Develop syllabi and other supplemental materials on a module basis prior to the start of a semester to be submitted to Direct supervisors for approval in order for distribution to students.
- Manage the creation, storage, and maintenance of documentation for inspections relating to the operation of the high school;
- Prepare and collect materials and teaching evidence according to Ministry of Education; maintain records of student evaluations and assessments
- Focus on student success by inspiring student learning and drive improvement(s) in areas of student satisfaction and retention
- Provide a learning environment that will prepare our students for the Canadian workplace

**Teaching**:

- Conduct classroom management proactively, consistently and with efficacy
- Meet all deadlines of official High School reporting and record submissions
- Adhere to the approved The Student Codes of Rights and Responsibilities policy when an incident occurs
- Implement and manage Company policies and procedures such as attendance, grade reports, student advising forms and all other assigned educational materials on a timely basis
- Maintain classroom environment(s), making certain that all areas are in safe working condition and cleanliness standards are met

**Qualifications**:

- Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in a related field;
- Must possess a English as Second Language (ESL) Certificate and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) Certificate
- An Ontario Certificate of Teachers (OCT) is preferred, and membership MUST be in good standing;
- 2 years of classroom teaching experience at a Secondary School level or higher is required;
- Experience using learning technology (e.g. MS Office, Google Workspace);
- Excellent communication skills, used in a respectful and supportive manner, with all stakeholders;
- Creative, flexible, innovative and positive approach to teaching and excellent classroom management
- Be a problem-solver and solution-provider when issues arise and have efficient organization and planning skills
- Thrives in a positive team environment and easily adapts to new things;
- Understand the needs of students and goes beyond the call of duty.
