Seeking a dynamic and organized **Event Manager** to oversee the planning, execution, and success of a variety of events, including esports tournaments, themed parties, networking events, and other gatherings in **Downtown and Midtown Toronto**. This role is ideal for a creative professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for gaming, entertainment, and event management.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Event Planning and Coordination**:

- Design and execute esports tournaments, networking events, themed gatherings, and other organized activities.
- Manage venue selection, contract negotiation, and event logistics for locations in Downtown and Midtown Toronto.
- Develop event timelines, budgets, and staffing plans to ensure successful execution.

**On-Site Management**:

- Oversee setup, execution, and breakdown of events, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
- Coordinate with vendors, staff, and volunteers to maintain a seamless operation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact during events to resolve issues and address attendee needs.

**Engagement and Marketing**:

- Drive participant engagement by creating unique, memorable experiences tailored to the audience.
- Foster networking opportunities and community-building among attendees.

**Post-Event Activities**:

- Gather feedback from attendees to assess satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide detailed post-event reports, including attendance, financial performance, and overall success metrics.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience managing events, including esports tournaments, corporate events, or themed gatherings.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teams and vendors effectively.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays based on event schedules.
- Experience in Toronto's event venues and regulations is an asset.
- Knowledge of esports and gaming culture is a significant advantage.
