Cafe Ami VGH is a locally owned and operated coffee shop providing coffee and food services to the hospital staff, patients and visitors, weekdays from 5:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and weekends from 6:30am - 7:30pm. We have a strong and diverse team and are looking to add a part-time barista to our team with the opportunity for growth to help **close the store working until 11pm.** **Responsibilities**: - Serving customers with specialty beverages and a variety of tasty food and treats, - Cashiering & customer service - General cleaning - Possibility of light food prep (sandwiches, wraps, salads) Requirements & Assets - Friendly, positive "can do" attitude - Reliable - Willingness to learn - Excellent customer service - Ability to work well with other individuals and alone when needed. - Previous food preparation experience is an asset (i.e. quick service, restaurant, or grocery store deli)* - Barista experience* - FoodSafe Certification or equivalent* - *Please note we are willing to train the right individuals as finding the right long term fit for the team is important to us*_ To apply, please submit your resume (online by clicking "Apply").
