Imagine being part of a growing team focused on introducing Asian Comfort Food to the North American market. Hon’s is looking for an **Accounts Payable Specialist** to support our continued growth and help us maintain smooth financial operations across our group of companies.

Hon’s is a leader in the Asian and Specialty Food category with a strong presence in manufacturing, distribution, and innovation. We operate multiple production facilities in the Vancouver and Richmond area, including an SQF-certified meat plant and a new state-of-the-art production facility in Richmond.

With ambitious plans to double our revenue in the next two years, we are focused on developing premium and ready-to-eat products, introducing innovative packaging solutions through another division under Hon’s, and providing exceptional service to some of the largest grocery retailers and food service companies in North America.

**Key Responsibilities**

As an **Accounts Payable Specialist**, you will:

- Enter all vendor invoices into **Sage 50** for the group of companies.
- Prepare cheques and process payments accurately and on time.
- Reconcile vendor invoices and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist with month-end close activities related to accounts payable.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to maintain strong relationships.

**Qualifications**
- **Experience**: Proven experience in accounts payable; familiarity with Sage 50 is highly preferred.
- **Attention to Detail**: Strong ability to accurately process large volumes of invoices.
- **Organization**: Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- **Problem-Solving**: Ability to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues independently.
- **Team Player**: Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
