Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Class 1 Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials, heavy equipment, and/or roll-off bins to various destinations in a safe and timely manner. Your role will involve operating commercial vehicles, performing routine maintenance checks, and ensuring compliance with traffic laws and regulations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate trucks to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or other heavy machinery, familiarity with load placement and cargo securement.
- Perform routine inspections of vehicles, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and brakes
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise
- Follow company policies and procedures for safe transportation of goods
- Complete required paperwork, such as delivery receipts
- Drivers' logs are electronic, familiarity with federal driving regulations is important.

**Skills**:

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial driving or a related field
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Ability to operate heavy equipment, such as forklifts or other machinery as required
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
- Good communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers, and team members

Pay: $30.00-$36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week
