Mixer Truck Drivers are primarily responsible for driving and operating ready mix concrete trucks and delivering concrete to residential, commercial, and industrial job sites.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform pre and post trip inspections on the truck
- Obtain deliver ticket with delivery destination
- Drive truck in a safe manner to residential, commercial, and industrial job sites
- Position truck into position for proper unloading
- Flip chute and properly angle and position chute to pour concrete
- Use remote to control the flow of concrete down the chute
- Use scrapper to pull concrete down the chute and collect excess concrete
- Interacts with jobs sites, customers, and crews in a friendly and courteous manner
- Wash the chute and concrete into enviro-chute or designated slurry water areas
- Use of acidization station to properly clean mixer and prevent build-up
- Occasionally perform general labour and truck cleanup
- Other duties as may be assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Valid class 3 or class 1 drivers license with air brake endorsement
- Clean driving record evidenced by a clean drivers abstract
- Ability to work long hours, overtime, and weekends
- Preferred, 1-2 years prior concrete truck driving experience

**Hours of Work**:
Regular work week will be Monday through Saturday.
