**Job Overview**

Westbay Security is looking for professional, observant, and tech-savvy Concierge Security Personnel to join our growing team. In this front-line role, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of both the building and its parking lot, while providing excellent service to tenants, visitors, and staff.

As a concierge security professional, you will serve as the first point of contact for individuals entering the premises. Your responsibilities will include monitoring access, patrolling designated areas, using surveillance equipment, and operating on-site technology such as computers and printers to log activities, generate reports, and manage visitor documentation.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Monitor and control building and parking lot access for residents, employees, visitors, and contractors.
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility and parking area to detect, report, and respond to any irregular or suspicious activity.
- Use computers and security software to record incidents, issue visitor badges, print reports, and maintain access logs.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems, ensuring all security equipment is operational and issues are promptly reported.
- Provide a visible and professional presence in the lobby and common areas, offering assistance to tenants and guests as needed.
- Enforce site policies and safety procedures with diplomacy and professionalism.
- Respond to emergencies (e.g., fire alarms, medical issues, disturbances) and coordinate with appropriate services if required.
- Handle package deliveries, access keys, and lost & found items according to building procedures.
- Maintain clear and accurate records using both paper forms and electronic systems.
- Assist with basic administrative tasks including photocopying, scanning, and document printing.

**Requirements & Qualifications**
- Valid Security License (BST - Basic Security Training) recognized by the province.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in the use of computers, printers, Microsoft Office, and security software.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure or during emergencies.
- Prior experience in concierge, residential/commercial security, or hospitality is an asset.
- Physically fit to conduct foot patrols and remain on your feet for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and awareness of surroundings.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
