**Security Guard - Gladious Security**

**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Monitor and control access by authorizing entry and exit of employees, visitors, and contractors.
- Conduct routine patrols of the property to prevent and detect signs of suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Operate and monitor CCTV and other surveillance systems effectively.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement and emergency services as required.
- Prepare accurate and detailed daily reports on activities, incidents, and observations.
- Enforce company policies, safety rules, and security protocols consistently.
- Support loss prevention efforts by identifying risks and taking preventive measures.

**Qualifications & Requirements**
- Previous experience in security or law enforcement is an asset but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of CCTV systems and surveillance practices is preferred.
- Strong observation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to stay calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
- Must hold a valid Advance Security Guard License (as per provincial regulations).
- Physically fit and able to perform patrol duties, including standing or walking for extended periods.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $17.75 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Licence/Certification:

- Advance Security License (preferred)
